Vern D. Richards earned his JD at Southern Methodist School of Law in 1998.
Mr. Richards was formerly with The Law Office of Ben Abbott, P.C. He has represented over 2,000 clients in personal injury cases. He has experience with injuries caused by slips and falls, animal bites, and automobile accidents.
After studying alternative dispute resolution with Sid Stahl at SMU, Mr. Richards received his mediators certificate from the Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the University of Texas in Austin in 2002. Since then Mr. Richards participated in the practicum program at Dispute Mediation Service in Dallas, where he continues to volunteer as a mediator.
