Car Accidents

One thing people take for granted is car insurance coverage when they have paid for it. It is required by state law in Texas and in the vast majority of states throughout the country. Insurance companies have carved out some exceptions to their requirement to provide insurance coverage in car accidents, however. When some of the insurance companies’ exceptions mesh with the state laws, they leave very big holes where arguably there is no coverage at all.

Two years ago a woman was in her truck when another car ran into the back of her vehicle. The driver of the car was a Texas Forest Service employee. The car hit her pickup truck in a way that caused the truck to burst into flames when it bumped into a gas tank at the gas station where she was sitting.
